On the morning of September 18th, 2024, Central Construction Joint Stock Company in collaboration with FECON Pho Yen Joint Stock Company – a member of FECON Invest Corporation (FECON Invest) held the groundbreaking ceremony of the Nam Thai Urban Area project in Pho Yen City, Thai Nguyen Province.
The ceremony was attended by leaders of the Project Management Board, Supervision Consultant, Central’s PMB and guests who are Subcontractors, Suppliers and employees of all parties.

The project with the commercial name is Square City Urban Area, with a total investment of about 2,250 billion VND, located in a prime location associated with the regional traffic axis, connecting the provinces of Vinh Phuc – Bac Giang – Tuyen Quang, Ring Road 5 of the Hanoi Capital. This is the first project to attract non-budget investment capital to start construction in the Nam Thai Urban Area complex, planned by Thai Nguyen Province into the most Green – Modern – Smart – Technology – Livable urban area in this area as well as neighboring provinces.

From the evening of September 8th, 2024 to the morning of September 9th, 2024, the Central’s PMB of Olalani River Side Towers constructed a batch of concrete for the B3 basement, locked the B3 basement floor of the 2 towers B1.1 & B1.2 after 3 months of commencement, exceeding the plan 05 days ahead of schedule set by the Investor.

Olalani River Sde Towers project with a depth of 03 basements up to -14.15m, and an area of 2 basements of nearly 10,000m2. The project uses 2 shoring systems, and solid construction by the open-cut excavation method to withstand high groundwater and tidal pressure due to the project’s location close to the river surface. This is a big challenge for the Central’s PMB with handling experiences as well as complying with strict construction measures.
According to the plan, the project will finish the basement floor by mid-November 2024. This is an important milestone, demonstrating the non-stop and professional working spirit of Central engineers.
