In order to contribute to spreading love, compassion and raise the awareness about social responsibility, each CENTRAL employee together with partners and relatives always actively accompany the blood donation program.

On this morning of May 11^th, 2023, at the Company’s main office, CENTRAL in collaboration with the Ho Chi Minh City Red Cross Blood Donation Center and the Red Cross Society of Thao Dien ward organized the program “Giot Mau Se Chia” 2023.

Especially, the program is honored to welcome:

• Delegation of Ho Chi Minh City Blood Bank
• Expert, Dr. Jeh-Han Omarjee – Head of Microbiological Sciences at National Bioproducts Institute (NBI), South Africa
• Ms. Tran Thi Tham, Director of Ho Chi Minh City Blood Donation Center
• Ms. Cao Thi Tuyet Nhung – Vice President of Thu Duc City Red Cross Society

The presence of distinguished guests showed the prestige as well as the professionalism of the blood donation process according to international standards that CENTRAL has cooperated with the Ho Chi Minh City Red Cross Society.

The blood donation program went successfully with coordination from the parties. It was carried out with modern and professional processes. Blood donors conveniently submitted their personal information online on the website of the Ho Chi Minh City Red Cross and get the order number automatically right at the company lobby.

As part of the company’s annual series of community activities with the theme “CHU DONG HIEN MAU, CHIA SE CONG DONG”, CENTRAL commits to always accompany the humanitarian blood donation program every year to spread this noble gesture; help raise people’s sense of responsibility, self-awareness, and initiative in participating in blood donation to help save many patients’ lives.

On the morning of 27/04/2023, CENTRAL cooperates with GreenViet Company and AGC Asia Pacific to organize a seminar with the topic “Sustainable Solutions for Green Façade” at CENTRAL Office headquarters. The event attracted speakers and guests from companies.

• Mr. Lim Yew Meng – Executive Director, AGC Asia Pacific;

 And guests from Companies:

• Mr. Vuong Thanh Lam – Managing Director at Vertical Studio;
• Mr. Ho Trong Hien – Chief Executive Officer, RFR FV – France Viet Nam Engineering;
• Mr. Dang Viet Khoa – Managing Director, KAZE Interior Design Studio;

Together with a large number of managers and technical experts of CENTRAL.

The workshop is an opportunity to meet and exchange sustainable solutions in the field of construction. Currently, green buildings have been interested by many investors. At the workshop, speakers presented the process to obtain Green Building certification from design, bidding, construction to operation. By simulating the design of energy and natural light for the façade at an early stage of the building design process, the idea will help optimize the cost, optimize energy for the façade system and air conditioning system for the building.

At the same time, the speakers introduced the features and properties of new materials through 3 topics:

• Energy-Efficient Glass/Energy-Generating Glass
• ETFE Lightweight Materials
• FEVE-based coatings

Using new materials with sustainability and efficiency helps the construction work and the cost of each project to be more economical and optimized.

Currently, green building technology and materials play an important role in evaluating green buildings for sustainable development. The application of green technology in the building is considered the optimal solution that makes an important contribution to creating a green building from design, structure, materials, and colors. Not only related to the quality of architectural aesthetics but also promoting efficiency in energy saving.

At CENTRAL, we have been constructing many projects according to “Green Façade” standards such as:

• Emasi Plus International School – Water Point Campus – Leed Gold Standard
• UOA Tower, The Metropole, Chadwick International School – BCA Green Mark Standard

Most especially, C.P. Office Building and Etown 6 projects received the LEED Platinum Ver.04 standard, the highest level of LEED standards of the US Green Building Council today. These projects will be the first ones to meet the highest level of green standards in Vietnam.
