October 18, 2025 — CENTRAL Construction Joint Stock Company welcomed a delegation from the University of Science and Technology – The University of Danang (DUT) for a working visit to discuss opportunities for collaboration, technological exchange, and academic–industry partnerships.

During the meeting, representatives from Da Nang University of Science and Technology expressed a strong desire to foster closer collaboration with industry partners, particularly in technology transfer and practical experience sharing. Mr. Vuong Le Thang outlined the university’s new educational strategy, which emphasizes international integration and curriculum innovation to meet societal expectations. He also expressed hope that CENTRAL and other enterprises would continue to support students through infrastructure, technical facilities, and real-world learning opportunities to help them complete their studies more effectively.

On behalf of CENTRAL, Mr. Mai Chanh Thanh reaffirmed the long-standing relationship between the two institutions, which has laid a solid foundation for a forthcoming Strategic Cooperation Agreement. He also shared his expectations for DUT students, stating: “We encourage students to broaden their perspectives, be proactive, and demonstrate passion and determination in every project they take part in.”

Concluding the session, both sides agreed to work together with a shared vision of student-centered development, continuously enhancing the quality of teaching and training. The partnership aims to cultivate a high-quality workforce for Vietnam’s and the global construction industry, marking another step toward stronger academic–industry integration.

On June 3, 2025, as part of its ongoing strategic collaboration with the Faculty of Civil Engineering at Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HCMUT), CENTRAL Construction Joint Stock Company hosted a formal Welcome and Training Day for 32 outstanding students selected for its 2025 internship program at CENTRAL Construction JSC Headquarters

Distinguished guests in attendance included:

• Mr. Tran Quang Tuan – CEO of CENTRAL
• Ms. Cao Thi Diem Chau – Head of Human Resources of CENTRAL

In his opening remarks, Mr. Tuan delivered an inspiring keynote, outlining CENTRAL’s long-term strategic vision, particularly emphasizing the company’s historic achievement as the first Vietnamese general contractor to enter international markets. Drawing from personal stories and industry experience, he ignited a sense of pride and purpose among the interns, highlighting the pivotal role of civil engineering in creating lasting societal value.

Following his address, Ms. Chau provided students with valuable insights on workplace professionalism, emphasizing the importance of attitude, behavior, and adaptability during the internship period. Her practical guidance aimed to equip interns with the tools needed to navigate real-world challenges and optimize their learning experience.

The event continued with an Onboarding and Cultural Integration Training, offering interns a comprehensive overview of:

• CENTRAL’s corporate history and operational structure
• Internship policies, expectations, and procedures
• Support systems and benefits for interns
• Notably: Occupational Safety Training – an essential component before engaging in real-world construction environments

This orientation not only marks the official start of the internship journey but also reinforces CENTRAL’s commitment to nurturing future engineering talent and contributing to the development of a highly skilled workforce for Vietnam’s construction sector.

Over the next two months, these students will experience the dynamic intersection of academic theory and on-site practice — a foundational step in their journey to becoming globally minded engineers.

On April 25, 2025, CENTRAL Construction Joint Stock Company was honored to accompany the Faculty of Civil Engineering – HCMC University of Technology (HCMUT) at the Career Orientation Day – Job Fair 2025. This annual event carries profound significance, serving as a bridge between the university, students and businesses, creating numerous career development opportunities for the future generation of engineers.

As one of Vietnam’s leading general contractors, CENTRAL proudly presented a range of recruitment programs for graduate engineers and promising interns at this year’s event, alongside extensive opportunities for professional growth and development within a dynamic and highly professional environment.

A significant number of students visited CENTRAL’s booth to gain insights into:

At the Job Fair, Ms. Cao Thi Diem Chau – Head of Human Resources, representing CENTRAL, shared:

The event was not only an opportunity for recruitment but also signaled the start of a deeper and more extensive partnership between CENTRAL and HCMUT – a prestigious institution for training high-quality engineers for Vietnam’s construction industry.

“Human resources” is one of the core values that Central prioritizes. The younger generation, with their innovative thinking, serves as an important asset that the company seeks to cultivate in order to contribute to sustainable development in the future.

On the morning of November 1, 2024, the New Engineer Training Program took place at Central’s Headquarters. In attendance were the company’s leadership and 50 top new engineers selected from leading universities specializing in Construction.

“Currently, many companies in the construction industry are facing challenges; however, Central’s situation shows many bright spots. Fortunately, the company still has numerous opportunities and comprehensive welfare policies for its employees. There is a continuous demand for new personnel to meet the needs of ongoing projects. Therefore, at this moment, each of us must appreciate and strive even harder. Evidence of this is that Central has provided opportunities for students while you are still in school and offered you chances once you become part of the Central team,” shared General Director Tran Quang Tuan.

Upon completion of the training program, 26 new engineers will be assigned to work in the Southern region, while the remaining 24 personnel will take on responsibilities in projects in the Northern region.

The program is scheduled to last for two months (November 1, 2024 – December 31, 2024), focusing on training across various areas including ISO, HSE, QS, QA – QC, Shop drawing, Equipment, BIM, construction strategies, and specialized training and practical experience in projects and departments. This aims to equip the new engineers with a strong foundation in operations and project management before they commence their official duties.

The dreams and aspirations, along with a spirit of lifelong learning, persistent efforts, dedication, and a passion for their profession will be the keys to their success, helping them to become multifaceted engineers—the promising future generation of Central.

Through specific insights and shares from the leadership, the new engineers confidently expressed their feelings about their work and the company environment from their internships, as well as their thoughts, aspirations, and goals upon joining Central. It is hoped that they will seize the opportunity to realize their personal development plans and contribute their youthful energy to the company’s achievements in the near future.

On the afternoon of October 26, 2024, the Faculty of Civil Engineering at Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology held the 67th Anniversary Meeting of Phu Tho – Bach Khoa University. The event saw the participation of various generations of lecturers, former faculty members, and especially The esteemed alumni of the University.

This event marks a significant milestone in the development journey of the University and the Faculty from 1957 to the present. The Faculty of Civil Engineering has become a high-quality human resource training institution, with many generations of alumni maintaining a strong connection with the Faculty and the University, continuing to uphold this beautiful tradition.

Attending the annual ceremony as an alumnus of the Faculty of Civil Engineering, Mr. Tran Quang Tuan – CEO of Central Construction Joint Stock Company always feels proud and has devoted considerable effort to the current students. Through various supportive programs, Central has instilled a love for the profession in the students, provided career guidance, and shared necessary skills for their work. On the morning of October 5, 2024, HCMC University of Technology and Education Education (HCMUTE) held a solemn opening ceremony for the 2024-2025 academic year, coinciding with the celebration of the 62nd anniversary of the University’s founding (October 5, 1962 – October 5, 2024). This ceremony welcomed the new academic year while honoring the tireless efforts of all faculty, staff, lecturers, and students.

Participating in the ceremony, Central Construction Joint Stock Company not only served as a sponsor but also as a strategic partner in workforce training. Through the provision of scholarships, sponsorship of competitions, and internship opportunities, Central aims to attract and nurture young talents, contributing to the establishment of a strong workforce for the construction industry in general and for the Company specifically.

In the 2023-2024 academic year, HCMUTE continued to achieve significant progress in business collaboration. The University has expanded its network of partners to over 200 major enterprises both domestically and internationally, enabling 98% of graduates to secure employment with multinational corporations and leading technology companies.

The total contributions from businesses, partners, philanthropists, alumni, and former educators have been directed towards the scholarship fund and the procurement of equipment for HCMUTE in the new academic year.
