On the morning of May 19, 2026, Da Nang International Terminal Investment and Operation Joint Stock Company (AHT) officially held the groundbreaking ceremony for the Renovation and Expansion of the International Passenger Terminal – Da Nang International Airport, with a total investment of nearly VND 1.5 trillion. The project is located in Hoa Cuong Bac Ward, Da Nang City.

The ceremony was attended by representatives of the Da Nang People’s Committee, AHT as the project owner, Nippon Koei Vietnam Co., Ltd. as the technical consultant, CENTRAL Construction Joint Stock Company as the general contractor, as well as subcontractors, suppliers, and media representatives.

The Renovation and Expansion of the International Passenger Terminal – Da Nang International Airport will be developed on an additional 3,600 m², increasing the terminal’s total operational floor area to more than 21,085 m². The roof of the expanded section has been designed to precisely replicate the architectural profile of the existing terminal, creating the visual impression of a flock of seagulls soaring in unison. Upon completion, Terminal T2 will increase its capacity to accommodate up to 85 check-in counters, add 31 passenger service positions, and feature seven departure gates equipped with passenger boarding bridges, alongside a next-generation baggage handling system. Significant infrastructure upgrades include expanding the number of outbound baggage handling islands from two to four and increasing inbound baggage claim carousels from four to six. The project will also incorporate inverter-based air-conditioning systems and Variable Air Volume (VAV) technology to optimize operational efficiency, reduce energy consumption, and enhance passenger comfort.

The airport’s international terminal has been recognized as Vietnam’s only terminal to achieve the prestigious Skytrax 5-Star Airport Terminal rating for three consecutive years, from 2024 to 2026.

The existing international terminal was originally commenced in 2015 and completed in just 18 months before officially entering operation on May 19, 2017, successfully serving the APEC Economic Leaders’ Week 2017. According to Skytrax reports, customer satisfaction regarding customs queue processing times has improved significantly, rising from 1.5 points to 4.5 points compared with 2025.

At the D-Aqua High-Rise Apartment & Commercial Service Office Project located along Binh Dong Wharf in Ho Chi Minh City, the CENTRAL project management team is accelerating the completion of the final works for handover to the Investor, DHA Corporation.

As the General Contractor, CENTRAL Construction Joint Stock Company is delivering the project on a land area of 8,025 m², comprising two basements and two 25-storey towers. TOPPING-OUT CEREMONY OF ZENIA TOWER – LA PURA PROJECT

On the morning of May 7, 2026, CENTRAL, in collaboration with Phat Dat Corporation, officially held the topping-out ceremony for Zenia Tower of the La Pura project, located on National Highway 13, Binh Hoa Ward, Ho Chi Minh City.

The topping-out ceremony was attended by representatives of Phat Dat Real Estate Development Corporation as the Investor, Artelia as the supervision consultant, BigFour as the strategic consultant, along with representatives from real estate agencies, subcontractors, suppliers, and project partners.

The ceremony not only marked an impressive milestone for the La Pura project as Zenia officially became the first tower to top out after only one year since the project’s restart, but also reflected the strong cooperation and partnership among Phat Dat Corporation, Artelia Supervision Consultant, BigFour Strategic Consultant, and CENTRAL as the General  Contractor. Up to this point, the project stands as clear evidence of the determination, discipline, and commitment demonstrated by the Investor, consultants, and CENTRAL toward this prominent development.

In addition to its strong construction progress, La Pura also benefits from a strategic location along the frontage of the 60-meter-wide commercial boulevard (National Highway 13). The section in front of the project has already completed lane separation and is now operating smoothly. At the same time, the entire route is expected to complete synchronized expansion during 2027-2028, coinciding with the scheduled handover period of the full La Pura project to residents.

CONSTRUCTION PROGRESS UPDATE OF LA PURA PROJECT

Developed by Phat Dat Corporation and with CENTRAL Construction Joint Stock Company serving as the Design & Build (D&B) general contractor, La Pura is a prominent mixed-use development in Binh Duong, comprising a commercial center and eight 40-storey residential towers.

Current construction progress of La Pura project

As the D&B general contractor, CENTRAL takes pride in contributing to the realization of a large-scale, integrated, and modern urban complex that is expected to reshape the urban landscape of the area. According to the latest update from CENTRAL’s PMB, construction is progressing at a strong and consistent pace, with all major work packages being implemented in parallel and aligned with the overall master schedule:

  • Vista 1 has reached Level 21/40; Vista 2 has reached Level 22/40;
  • Zenia 1 has reached Level 32/40; Zenia 2 has reached Level 36/40;
  • Lusso Saigon towers are currently under construction up to Level 4, while the commercial center and Risa 1 & 2 are in preparation, targeting simultaneous progress to Level 21 in the near future.

At the same time, interior and exterior finishing works, along with MEP works, are being carried out concurrently. Structural construction is maintaining a stable cycle of approximately 5 – 6 days per floor. In parallel, surrounding infrastructure is being developed in a synchronized manner, including the expansion of the main boulevard in front of the project to up to 60 meters, enhancing connectivity and contributing to the overall value of the development.

In addition, the project utilizes AAC (Autoclaved Aerated Concrete) blocks an environmentally friendly building material supporting sustainable development goals and reducing carbon emissions in construction.

With its role as D&B general contractor, CENTRAL continues to demonstrate strong capabilities in project management and execution, maintaining strict control over quality, safety, and progress.
