Individual Award: Engineer Vo Thanh Thien for his inspiring submission titled “Cubicost 5D BIM – A Journey of Pioneers.”

The two distinguished awards of CENTRAL
Glodon representatives praised CENTRAL for its robust and systematic implementation of BIM technology in construction execution and project management. As digital transformation becomes a defining trend in the construction industry, CENTRAL stands out as one of the few contractors in Vietnam leading both in vision and execution.
The meeting also served as a platform for in-depth discussions on emerging BIM trends, practical deployment experiences, and updates on Cubicost’s advanced features — the core technology being adopted by CENTRAL across several major projects.
Developed by Glodon, Cubicost is a specialized software suite for quantity takeoff and cost management based on the BIM platform. The name “Cubicost” reflects its dual focus:
“Cubic”, representing the 3D BIM modeling foundation,
“Cost”, emphasizing its role in optimizing expenses and enhancing transparency and efficiency in the AEC (Architecture – Engineering – Construction) industry.
The Cubicost BIM suite includes four specialized modules — TAS, TRB, TME, and TBQ — tailored to various tasks within quantity takeoff and analysis. These tools enable flexible BIM data exchange, significantly boosting accuracy, efficiency, and professionalism in cost estimation. Unlike traditional methods, Cubicost seamlessly integrates with other widely used industry software, offering a modern, optimized estimation solution on the BIM platform.
The CENTRAL engineers listen to the features of the Cubicost software introduced by Glodon.
This award is a well-deserved recognition of CENTRAL’s relentless commitment to pioneering the integration of BIM in construction and project management. Over the years, the company has consistently invested in research and effective BIM implementation to enhance material control, reduce construction costs, and improve productivity and project outcomes. Notable projects utilizing BIM technology include: Taipei Twin Towers (Taiwan), Fairmont Hanoi, La Pura Binh Duong, D-Aqua, Sol Forest Ecopark, Empire City, and UOA Tower, among others.
During the event, CENTRAL expressed its sincere appreciation to Glodon for its dedicated technical support throughout the Cubicost deployment journey. Both sides shared a mutual vision for expanding collaboration — not only in software application but also in co-developing BIM solutions tailored to the real-world needs of the construction industry in Vietnam and Southeast Asia.
The synergy between CENTRAL and Glodon promises to deliver long-term, sustainable value — not only for the two organizations but also for the broader construction ecosystem in this digital era.
