CENTRAL WELCOMES THE ALMA DELEGATE OF CHAIRMANS ATTENDING IN HANDOVER OF THE MODEL APARTMENT – ALMA RESORT PROJECT

On the morning of October 09, 2018, CENTRAL handed over the model apartment of Cluster 1-Villa 1.4 to the investor being PARADISE BAY RESORT CO., Ltd (ALMA) in Cam Ranh successfully.

Located at Bai Dai Beach – one of the most beautiful beaches in Nha Trang Bay, Khanh Hoa, ALMA is a luxury resort built on an area of 30 hectares. With 200 villas and 2 towers including 400 luxury apartments with sea view, ALMA is capable of providing 31,000-holiday units including full facilities and recreational complexes such as swimming pools, cinemas, concert halls, sports centers, water parks, and so on.

At the launch of the model apartments, CENTRAL is honored to welcome Mr. Igal Ahouvi (ALMA chairman), Mr. Lev-Ran Dor (Director of Construction and Development Department), Ms. Tollman Karina Tatianna (Mr. Igal’s Design adviser) ), Mr. Tran Quang Tuan (CENTRAL’s General Director).

In this project, CENTRAL is honored to be selected by the Investor as the main contractor for construction and completion, refrigeration mechanics, infrastructure, and part of the structure of villas in which the total value of the signed contract is more than 1000 billion Vietnamese dongs.

ALMA resort is a complex project of long-term use, so the ALMA resort is always focused on design and construction work to ensure the quality factor as well as the convenience for customers. In addition to the selection of leading construction contractors such as Central, Hoa Binh, etc., ALMA also selects prestigious design consulting units and management consultancy ones from various fields in the world.


Accordingly, the design of the ALMA resort is an overall combination of modern Eurasian designs. Moreover, with respect to local culture, architect Karlyn Cerdena has skillfully blasted the Vietnamese traditional culture into the ALMA architecture in a contemporary natural style.


The handover of the model apartment is closed by the great appreciation and satisfaction from the Investor for CENTRAL, which is the great spiritual encouragement to help CENTRAL to motivate the project to progress on time, more security and quality than expected.

CENTRAL COMPLETED AND HANDED OVER PROJECTS IN THE THIRD QUARTER OF 2018

Recently, in the third quarter of 2018, CENTRAL officially handed over projects to investors such as Blue Sky Mega Residence on 30 July 2018, Vinhomes Riverside The Harmony on 27 August 2018, and Edison International school on 05 September 2018.

At Vinhomes Riverside The Harmony (VRH), CENTRAL was the main contractor for the structural and finishing works. VRH is one of the key projects that Vingroup has invested in, VRH has been honored as the best complex in Asia-Pacific in 2012. So far, they have been continuously voted in the most worth living urban area in Vietnam. VRH Phase 2 inherits such outstanding facilities as convenient connectivity, eco-friendly space, 5-star amenities, and a civilized community. In addition to the low density of buildings, only 21% with 10.5 hectares of greenery and canal system over 6km, VRH also owns a central lake of 12.4 hectares.

With Blue sky mega residence, CENTRAL was the general contractor for structure, finishing, electromechanics, and infrastructure. Blue sky was built on a beautiful campus with a playground arranged landscape, trees, vegetable garden based on the view of children with attractive vivid colors. In addition, the building has an outdoor swimming pool of international standard with moderate depth, suitable for children of preschool age.


And at the Edison International school, CENTRAL was the main contractor for structural works, finishing the project. The campus has a size of 21,500 square meters consisting of 5 blocks, the main classroom system, function rooms, modern laboratory, a sports area connected to the Ecopark Sport Arena infrastructure, etc.

CENTRAL has a team of enthusiastic young engineers who have worked hard to find unique construction ideas, overcome the limitations of weather and soil. And to ensure the quality as well as the progress of construction work, all CENTRAL Site Management Board are working with the spirit of solidarity and determination. The achievement not only met all the rigorous standards of progress, technique, art, and safety but also received great appreciation from Vingroup, SSG Group, and Blue Sky Investors.

TALKSHOW ROLES OF PROJECT MANAGER & GENERAL FINANCE FOR PROJECT MANAGEMENT PERSONNEL

Within the chain of training programs of Project Manager – Site Manager – Deputy Site Manager with the aim at improving professional knowledge and managerial skill for medium-level management personnel, CENTRAL organized successfully Talkshow “Role of project manager and general finance for project management personnel” in Liberty hotel, Ho Chi Minh City.

The program greeted CEO Mr. Tran Quang Tuan to come and share the title “Role of Project Manager” and Ms. Mai Thi Kim Dung with the title “General finance of project management personnel”. This was the second offline program in the year with the attendance of key personnel of CENTRAL, which includes the General Management Board and more than 70 attendees from Office departments/divisions and Site managers and Assistant Site Managers.

The warm-up part enclosed with the planes full of desire and ambition at the beginning of the program created an exciting and lively atmosphere throughout the auditorium.


The Talkshow with two titles brought quite a lot of useful information featuring practical characteristics as well as improved financial knowledge for the personnel of sites and relevant departments/divisions.

With this program, CEO Tran Quang Tuan expected that every employee learned and applied the shared skills and experiences well to their work with the target of increasing governance competence as well as improving productivity for the common objective of sustainable development of CENTRAL in the future.


These are initial steps for the chain of knowledge and skill training programs for Project Manager-Site manager-Assistant Site Manager and Training Division, Human Resources Department shall continue to launch more practical and attractive activities, which help individuals to fulfill their assignments.

TEAMBUILDING OF THE NORTH IN 2018 “BUILD VALUE – BUILD TRUST”

Following stage 1 and 2 of the Teambuilding program in 2018, CENTRAL held the stage 3 Teambuilding for more than 150 employees in the North at Novotel Ha Long Bay.

This vacation was really meaningful and warm to all employees. With lively games at Ha Long Beach, our warriors shared duties, smiles and unforgettable moments and impressive challenges such as hard roads, giant wheels, colorful racing roads, and sea-cross boat building.

Gala dinner “BUILD VALUE-BUILD TRUST” was also an outburst party with multi feelings. This was the moment when all attendees were listening to CEO Mr. Tran Quang Tuan‘s speech: “Current achievements come from the unity of all employees here, all of you are striving with hard-working, ambitious and diligent spirits to improve your governance competence as well as productivity. That is your attempt, devotion, and even sacrifice of quiet warriors for further development of CENTRAL.

I highly appreciate and recognize all your contribution and expect that all of you shall be more drastic, durable, and stronger to accompany the Management Board for big targets over next time. CENTRAL has made a continuous attempt to build and create the best and the most favorable working environment with a full-pride spirit and I am sure we shall together have more meaningful vacations for the years to come.

As you know, CENTRAL has just finalized and put into use successfully two key projects in Northern Regions including Vinhomes Harmony & Edison International School. CENTRAL considered Hanoi as one of the strategic zones within the sustainable development tendency of the company. Accordingly, the achievements together with trusts from the Employers shall be a big motivation for us to get more success in future.

CENTRAL LAUNCHED 2018 MEDICAL EXAMNIATION FOR EMPLOYEES

Within the program of health and spiritual life care of employees, between 17 and 30/08/2017 CENTRAL launched a 2018 regular medical examination in the North, Central, and South. This is one of the annual activities of the Company on the purpose of helping employees controlling their health as well as the Company offering reasonable amendments and adjustments accordingly to ensure benefits for employees.

Being aware of the importance of the program, the employees of CENTRAL made their efforts to attend the program. The medical examination program includes professional and experienced doctors from famous hospitals such as Phap Viet, Monaco Healthcare, and Medlatec Hanoi.

First of all, the employees were taken with test specimens at offices/sites, one week later they continued to attend the general clinical examination, ultrasonography, X-ray, electrocardiogram…For each medical sector, the professional doctors always answered the questions of each employee as well as gave detailed health report to each individual to suggest some health issues or advice about potential symptoms/signals with the aim at helping each individual to master his/her health status for providing effective prevention measures.

This program presents not only the attention of the Management on the care of the employee’s rights and benefits but gives medical advice to individuals so that they can monitor their health status, then they can release any concern about their health for concentrating on their work.

CENTRAL ORGANIZED FIRE FIGHTING AND PREVENTION AT HEAD OFFICE BUILDING

On the morning of 31/08/2018, the Safety board organized successfully the training program on Fire Fighting and Prevention in 2008 at CENTRAL’s head office, Ho Chi Minh City.

The program attracted more than 30 trainees of whom 15 come from the Fire Fighting and Prevention Team of the office building and 15 safety supervisors in the South.


Fire Fighting and Prevention are considered extremely important to prevent and minimize occurrences of fires; early findings of fire causes shall help avoiding unexpected events, which may cause damages to humans and properties.


The instructors coming from City’s Fire Brigade introduced and shared useful skills with trainees regarding exiting from fired floors or obstruction cases in fires. The trainees were also provided with skills of smoke inhalation first aid and how to inspect and use fire extinguishers effectively. After completion of theoretical training, all trainees practiced firefighting with fire distinguishers, fire hose as well as rescue activities in case of fire at their bases.

In addition to securing effective business operations, CENTRAL always pays special attention to Fire Fighting and Prevention. Through this training program, the Departments/Sites of the Company shall recognize fully the importance and meaning of fire prevention and fighting because this is both responsibility and obligation of all employees of the CENTRAL.
