CENTRAL ORGANIZIED THE MANAGEMENT TRAINING COURSE FOR MIDDLE MANAGERS

In the series of training activities in 2019, in order to improve professional knowledge for management levels, HR Department collaberated with PACE Institute of Management organized the training course “Management middle managers” (3M)

The course was designed specifically for those who are currently middle managers (Middle Manager – MM). There were 25 members joined the program including Project Directors, Site Managers, Department Managers in the Southern region. The 12-day course will give you an overview of MM and the effective management system: Knowhow a professional MM would be; Gain the necessary knowledge and skills to be able to improve the managing ability.

Management capacity generally includes “professional capacity” and “management capacity”. In most of businesses today, many people who are very professional, but not successful in the management position. The reason is they do not know how to “manage people”, do not understand the “concern” of the big boss. Or they have not yet implemented the company strategy to allocate down to the strategy of the Departments / Divisions. Because when penetrating the culture of the company, it is possible to issue the way to build culture for each member effectively.

CENTRAL focuses on training by practical courses will contribute to build a “model” to improve the management capacity for middle management team in particular and the management team in Company.

CENTRAL LAUNCHED THE PROGRAM TO VISIT TO THE SOUTH AND CENTRAL CONSTRUCTION SITES

For launching the series of programs to visit and encourage the staff of CENTRAL construction sites in 2019, Media collaborated with HR to visit Site Management Board in Vincity district 9, UOA, Hoa Lam – HCM City and Alma resort – Cam Ranh from April 09 to April 19, 2019.

Especially during this trip, the organization board established a special program named “We are Centralers” which is a quiz games with questions and answers related to expertise, culture, core values and people of CENTRAL. The program has really attracted the attention of all staff, people are excited to participate in the lively atmosphere and full of laughters. Moreover, the activity has created cohesion and relieved many stresses after the hard and fierce working hours.

In addition, Ms. Nguyen Duong Truc Linh (Media Manager) had a talk and shared her thoughts and struggles that the staff had overcome as well as answered questions about regulations, policies and updated information about the CENTRAL programs and activities in Quarter 1, 2019 for everyone.

Besides, the organization board also brought spiritual values by funny stories, which contributed to increase the connection between the Office and Construction Site. The most important thing is the visiting gave expressions of encouragement from the BOD to the staff, kept Site Management Board going to overcome challenges at the time when they are very busy with the work for finishing projects in Quarter 2/2019.

Although under the really hot sunshine of the early summer days, it was not really heat as the heat of the work but the fighting spirit and couragement in each of the staff are always full of life.

THE COMMENCEMENT CEREMONY OF POWER CREATION INDUSTRIAL

On the morning of April 9th, 2019, CENTRAL and Investor Power Creation Industrial Co., Ltd. (Taiwan) held the commencement ceremony of the “Power Creation Industrial” project at Bau Bang Industrial Park, Bau Bang District, Binh Duong Province.

The ceremony was honored to welcome the Investor Mr Hsieh Wen Zheng – President, Ms. Hsieh Ye Ling Ling – BOM, Mr Hsieh Yu Ting – CEO, Mr Liu Bo Di –BOM; main contractor representative Mr Tran Quang Tuan – CEO, Mr Tran Minh Thi – D&B Director. Mr Nguyen Thien Thuat – Project Director, Mr Nguyen Xuan Thanh – Site Manager in common with more investor Taiwan, construction team and supplier.

CENTRAL is D&B General Contractor of this project. Only 7 days, CENTRAL has transformed Bau Bang wilderness land to a ready construction project with safety systems in warehousing, arrange stable ground. Therefore, the investor with over 40 years factory experience in Taiwan and China appreciated the agility and the professional working style as well as firmly believe with CENTRAL.

THREE CONSTRUCTION PROJECTS OF VINGROUP PROCEEDED BY CENTRAL

CENTRAL is having 3 new VINGROUP’s construction projects.

The First Project: Vincity Grand Park

CENTRAL is a general contractor for 8 Towers. The contractor uses the new construction method – FULL TOP DOWN – building a basement and the body at the same time. CENTRAL has recently invested Gang form, an equipment imported from Korea, to pour a whole concrete into a 100% concrete walls instead of the traditional construction.

The second Project: Vinhomes Smart City – Tay Mo Dai Mo

Here are the 3 CENTRAL construction towers located in Thang Long Avenue, west of Ha Noi with 280ha scale.

The third Project: Phu Quoc Grand World

At the middle of March 2019, CENTRAL commences the project of Phu Quoc Grand World located at Bai Dai – one of the most beautiful Paradise beaches on earth , Phu Quoc island , has a variety of  fine hotels such as Condotel, Sho, Minihotel,…

This in one of the largest Vingroup’s works including the huge catergories built near the Phu Quoc Casino complex.

Besides, Vinmec Times City project by CENTRAL as the main contractor is promptly in the finish stage of MEP to prepare for the handover in June, 2019.

CENTRAL WINNING THE CONSTRUCTION BASEMENT THE SHANGRI-LA HOA LAM PROJECT

On February 22, 2019, CENTRAL winning to be the main contractor for the construction of the basement structure for the “Shangri-La Hoa Lam Project” located in the High-Tech Healthcare Zone.

The project is built on a land area of ​​2 hectares of a 33-hectare Shangri-La complex, including: Aeon Mall, International Hospital,…The scale of the project includes 2 hectares of basement, 4 Tower blocks, including 28 floating floors with a total floor area of ​​220,000 m2.

Hoa Lam Investor is a multidisciplinary business Group in many fields such as Real Estate, Health, Finance and Trade in Services. Specifically, Hoa Lam is the owner of the building Lim Tower 1 Ton Duc Thang Street, Lim Tower 2 Nguyen Dinh Chieu Street, Lim Tower 3 Vo Van Tan Street; Hongkong Land Investor joint venture project with luxury apartments in District 29B Nguyen Dinh Chieu Street; Hoa Lam International Hospital, … and many other projects in HCMC.

THE TOPPING OUT CEREMONY OF OPAL TOWER

On the morning of March 29, 2019, SSG Group and VietNam Land (Hong Kong) cooperated with CENTRAL to successfully organize the Topping Out Ceremony of “Opal Tower, Saigon Pearl.”

The ceremony was honored to welcome the Investor – Mr. Lo Kwok Luen (CEO), Mr. Dang Chinh Trung (BOM), Mr. Hoang Ha (Deputy General Director), Mr. Tran Duc Tam (Deputy Managing Director SSG Group), main contractor representative – Mr Mai Chanh Thanh (Executive Director), Mr. Pham Huu Phuc (Project Director), Mr Ngo Vu Dinh Phuc (Site Manager)  in common with construction teams, subcontractors and official suppliers.

BOD of SSG Group and Central is make topping out Ceremony.

Opal Tower scales 42 floors, was constructed by CENTRAL to complete the body within 10 months, exceeding the required schedule of 1 month. The project is built between the population of Saigon Pearl residential community, executed an average of 5 days / floor with the floor support technology highly appreciated by the investor about safety and progress. From the time of commencement (in May, 2018) to today, the construction site has achieved 1.7 million safe working hours.

Mr. Ngo Vu Dinh Phuc shared: “With the strict requirements on quality safety of the Investor, the project topped out over 30 days ahead of schedule. This is a successful result for the executive board’s members. On this occasion, all employees would like to thank the board of management for facilitating the work of the executive board’s members, thank the managers at the company for accompanying the Executive Board from the beginning of the project. “

Mr Lo Kwok Luen commended the Opal Tower Site Management Board for achieving 1.7 million safe working hours.

The event of topping out is the second milestone of the project. The executive board is determined to concentrate highly on the completed construction and other works to bring the project to a quality and safety destination in December, 2019.
