Groundbreaking Ceremony of Sun Costa Residence – A New Benchmark for Coastal Living

Strategically located at the intersection of Ho Nghinh and Vuong Thua Vu Streets in Phuoc My Ward, Son Tra District, Sun Costa Residence is envisioned as a new icon of vibrant urban living near My Khe Beach. The project comprises two 25-story towers and three basement levels, with a total gross floor area exceeding 62,000 m². CENTRAL has been entrusted as the general contractor, responsible for the full scope of structural works and finishing.

Located on Tran Hung Dao Street along the Han River, the project is considered a rare gem at the convergence of three bustling districts. Designed as a trio of twin towers rising 24 to 30 floors, the project will deliver approximately 1,300 premium apartments—set to become a new icon of artistic urban living in Da Nang.

On the morning of June 23, 2025, Mr. Frank Cui, General Director, Global Business Development of Glodon, along with representatives from Glodon Vietnam, visited the headquarters of CENTRAL Construction Joint Stock Company to present the prestigious “Vietnam 5D BIM Contest 2025” award. The visit not only recognized the outstanding efforts of CENTRAL’s engineering team in advancing digital construction management but also marked a significant milestone in the strategic partnership between CENTRAL and Glodon.

At the competition organized by Glodon, CENTRAL secured two distinguished awards:

  • Team Award: “Best Cubicost Application 2025” for the Estuary Tuyen Son project in Da Nang.
  • Individual Award: Engineer Vo Thanh Thien for his inspiring submission titled “Cubicost 5D BIM – A Journey of Pioneers.”

The award ceremony was attended by Mr. Tran Quang Tuan, Chairman and CEO of CENTRAL, along with the BIM engineering team — key contributors to shaping the future of the construction industry through technological innovation.

Glodon representatives praised CENTRAL for its robust and systematic implementation of BIM technology in construction execution and project management. Developed by Glodon, Cubicost is a specialized software suite for quantity takeoff and cost management based on the BIM platform. The name “Cubicost” reflects its dual focus:

  • “Cubic”, representing the 3D BIM modeling foundation,
  • “Cost”, emphasizing its role in optimizing expenses and enhancing transparency and efficiency in the AEC (Architecture – Engineering – Construction) industry.

The Cubicost BIM suite includes four specialized modules — TAS, TRB, TME, and TBQ — tailored to various tasks within quantity takeoff and analysis. These tools enable flexible BIM data exchange, significantly boosting accuracy, efficiency, and professionalism in cost estimation. Unlike traditional methods, Cubicost seamlessly integrates with other widely used industry software, offering a modern, optimized estimation solution on the BIM platform.

On June 23, 2025, at Ho Chi Minh City Headquarters, Central Construction Joint Stock Company celebrated the 8th anniversary (June 23, 2017 – June 23, 2025) in an atmosphere filled with pride and emotion.

The event was attended by the company’s Board of Directors and staff members from various departments and divisions. Project teams across all three regions of the country participated online.

From June 10 to June 28, 2025, CENTRAL is conducting its annual health check program for employees across all regions—North, Central, and South—covering both office personnel and on-site project staff. This initiative reflects the company’s ongoing commitment to safeguarding the comprehensive health of its workforce.

The program offers flexible options for sample collection, which takes place either at company offices or directly at project sites. Employees then undergo full medical examinations at top-tier hospitals nationwide, including the University Medical Center Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi Medical Hospital, Vinmec Hospital System, and Hoan My Hospital.

Each employee receives a complete medical assessment, ranging from basic to advanced screenings, ensuring timely and accurate evaluations of their health status. The program serves not only as a preventive measure but also as a means of early detection of potential health risks.
