CENTRAL BOD HAD A BUSINESS TRIP TO MALAYSIA AND JAPAN

In the first days of April 2019, CENTRAL BOD had a business trip to Malaysia and Japan.

The main objective of the trip to Malaysia was to visit GAMUDA factory of GAMUDA IBS group. It lies on an area of 11ha, CENTRAL BOD has directly identified stairs, pillars, beams and the optimization of using resources such as cement, sand and steel as well as special architectural elements. This is a great opportunity for CENTRAL BOD to learn and gain experience in the field of factory construction, from that design and construct projects at the beginning of quarter 2, 2019.

Besides, CENTRAL BOD visited some outstanding and special architectural constructions in the Kuala Lumpur city.

After the end of the business trip to Malaysia, by the invitation of Mr. Terada Osamu – Vice President SHIMIZU CORPORATION, CEO Tran Quang Tuan leaded the CENTRAL delegation including the Executive Director and leaders of the Office & Sites had a trip to visit and work in Tokyo, Japan.

Mr. Terada Osamu and Senior Management of SHIMIZU welcome and worked with CENTRAL delegation at head office of the corporation with a spirit of respect and sincerity. During the working sessions, the two sides took the time to discuss the orientation of future projects in Vietnam. CENTRAL BOD wishes that the issues exchanged will be realized in the coming soon.

After the working sessions, SHIMIZU BOD facilitated for CENTRAL delegation to visit the head office building and some international standard buildings of SHIMIZU such as Tokyo World Gate, D&B implementation model in Tama Medical Center project, … Especially, CENTRAL BOD was really impressive, satisfied with the technological and technical achievements when directly visiting SHIMIZU Research Institute – this is the cradle to produce many research projects to serve the construction industry of Japan and the world. Every year, SHIMIZU Research Institute organizes for thousands of students to visit and practice at the Institute. This is a prerequisite for SHIMIZU to attract talented people, develop perfectly and sustainably over time.

At the end of the business trip to Malaysia and Japan, the two trips not only end at the visiting, CENTRAL BOD has comprehended, experienced and learned a lot of knowledge and experience, thereby improving technical capacity, professional capacity and project management. CENTRAL ORGANIZIED THE MANAGEMENT TRAINING COURSE FOR MIDDLE MANAGERS

In the series of training activities in 2019, in order to improve professional knowledge for management levels, HR Department collaberated with PACE Institute of Management organized the training course “Management middle managers” (3M)

The course was designed specifically for those who are currently middle managers (Middle Manager – MM). There were 25 members joined the program including Project Directors, Site Managers, Department Managers in the Southern region. The 12-day course will give you an overview of MM and the effective management system: Knowhow a professional MM would be; Gain the necessary knowledge and skills to be able to improve the managing ability.

Management capacity generally includes “professional capacity” and “management capacity”. In most of businesses today, many people who are very professional, but not successful in the management position. The reason is they do not know how to “manage people”, do not understand the “concern” of the big boss. Or they have not yet implemented the company strategy to allocate down to the strategy of the Departments / Divisions. Because when penetrating the culture of the company, it is possible to issue the way to build culture for each member effectively.

In the morning of March 13, 2019, CENTRAL was honored to welcome Leaders – SHIMIZU Corporation, Japan in an intimate atmosphere at the Head Office in Ho Chi Minh City.

On the side of SHIMIZU, there was the leader of delegation who is Mr Terada Osamu – Vice President Group from Japan. The delegation also had the presence of Mr Kamiosako Hajime – Deputy Director of International Division, Mr Kashiwamura Akira – Head of Global Strategy Division and Mr. Matsumoto Takayuki – Shimizu Vietnam General Director. At the meeting, Mr Terada gave a brief overview of the Group’s formation and development process. Thereby, he also expressed the expectation in the near future will promote development focusing on the segment of building hospitals in Vietnam. Accordingly, he also wished that CENTRAL would be a strategic partner to accompany SHIMIZU for specific and long-term cooperation plans in the future.

In response to that trust, Mr Tran Quang Tuan – CENTRAL’s CEO sent a deep thanks and admiration to the SHIMIZU’s steering committees with the desire to have more opportunities to work, learn, and parallel in the nearest projects.

After leaving the office, CENTRAL’s steering committees has brought SHIMIZU’s delegation to visit some existing works in HCMC area such as Opal Tower with 42 floors in Saigon Pearl, UOA Tower by UOA Company (Malaysia) as an investor with 4 basements, 25 floors in Phu My Hung, … Through here, SHIMIZU’s steering committees have acknowledged and appreciated CENTRAL’s capacity through professional organization and construction. SHIMIZU believes that CENTRAL is the best choice for potential cooperation.

CENTRAL ORGANIZES TRAINING PROGRAM “LIFE MANAGEMENT”

In the series of training activities has been proposed in 2019, CENTRAL will accompany wit PACE entrepreneur school organizations courses about fostering professional expertise, skills for all members in the company.
On 21th March 2019, BOD and about 100 Managers in 3 regions the Northern, Central and Southern gathered to attend the “LIFE MANAGEMENT PROGRAM” at Lotte Legend Hotel, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City. The training session was taken by Mr. Gian Tu Trung – Principal of PACE Entrepreneur School and Director of the Institute of Education Development Research.

TRAINING PROGRAM OF HR MANAGEMENT FOR NON-HR MANAGERS

BASIC SAFETY TRAINING PROGRAM FOR STUDENTS OF DANANG UNIVERSITY

Recently, on November 9th, 2018, CENTRAL successfully organized the program “Basic Safety Training for Construction Engineers” at Polytechnic University of Danang.


This is a course designed to equip graduates with basic skills in hazard identification, risk assessment, and preventive measures to protect themselves, protect the public, personnel and individuals involved in working on the site.


Understanding that importance, representing the company, Mr. Mao Vi Cuong as Head of HSSE has directly trained 150 students. In addition, the program has an interesting practical experience from Mr. Vo Quang Dat (CHT) about what students need to be aware of to prepare for the start of their profession.


This program is also an opportunity for students who hope to get an internship in the work of CENTRAL in the coming time.
