On the morning of June 23^rd, 2024, at Gia Dinh Stadium, Binh Thanh District, Ho Chi Minh City, Central Construction Joint Stock Company held the Opening Ceremony of Central Sports Day 2024 to celebrate the 7th anniversary of the company’s establishment (23/06/2017 – 23/06/2024).

This year’s Sports Festival not only attracts the company’s employees to compete in 6 sports: Football, Tug of War, One-cushion & Three-cushion Carom Billiards, Chinese Chess, Running 5,000m & 10,000m, Men’s 100m Swimming, but also has the companionship and participation of 8 Partners:

The Sports Festival has become an annual activity of the company; is a spiritual and cultural activity, a healthy and useful playground to improve the spirit of physical training and sports and improve health. And more importantly, to strengthen the solidarity between Departments/Departments/Projects, and at the same time extend this spirit to the Partners who have accompanied Central during the past time.

Speaking at the ceremony, on behalf of Central’s Board of Directors, CEO Tran Quang Tuan said: “Thank you to more than 400 athletes and supporters of Central and Partners for gathering on this festival. This shows that our spirit of physical training and sports is very enthusiastic, doing our best to play hard. And through this, I also have a few messages to the athletes participating in the competition to promote the spirit of solidarity, compete honestly, show a noble spirit, create cultural beauty in sports, and dedicate to the audience exciting competitions.”

Representing the partners participating in the Central Sports Festival 2024 season, Mr. Dam Xuan Phu – Deputy Director of Bumatech Co., Ltd. shared: “We are very honored to receive an invitation to participate in this year’s sports festival from your company. The Sports Festival not only aims to maintain health improvement but also is an opportunity to promote the spirit of solidarity, exchange and strengthen sustainable cooperation between the parties. I wish all the teams participating in the fair play, dedicate themselves and wish our Sports Festival a great success.”

Immediately after the whistle of the referee team sounded, all athletes and fans gathered in the playing field area of all disciplines to compete and cheer for the home team.

On the morning of June 30^th, 2024, at Gia Dinh Stadium, Binh Thanh District, Ho Chi Minh City, Central Construction Joint Stock Company held the Awards and Closing Ceremony of Central Sports Day 2024.

Central Sports Day 2024 takes place in 2 weeks with the participation of more than 400 athletes and supporters who are staff from Departments/Projects and Partners.

After 2 weeks of competing in 6 subjects: Football; Tug of War; One-cushion & Three-cushion Carom Billiards; Chinese Chess; Running 5,000m & 10,000m; Men’s 100m Swimming; besides the joys, there were also many regrets, but in all the athletes have all devoted their best to create exciting and vibrant matches.

Mr. Mai Chanh Thanh – Central’s Executive Director shared at the ceremony: “I would like to thank our Partners for accompanying us in this year’s sports day. Thank you to the referee team for being fair, transparent and objective for the competing disciplines. Thank you for the participation of the athletes participating in the competition, competing together in 6 subjects with a spirit of enthusiasm, honesty, effort to devote all your abilities, determination to achieve high results, and supporters are present regularly to enthusiastically cheer for all athletes. We all worked together to make this year’s sports day a success.”

Central Sports Day 2024 ended successfully, leaving impressions of enthusiastic sports spirit in the hearts of Staff and Partners.

On the morning of March 29^th, 2024, Central Construction Joint Stock Company held the Partner Conference 2024 with the theme “Build Trust, Creat Value”. On this occasion, the Central Board of Directors shared with nearly 130 partners about the company’s strategy, cooperation spirit as well as development orientation in 2024 and the following years.

As a reputable General Contractor, being trusted from clients and partners, Mr. Tran Quang Tuan, CEO of Central shared: In 2020 and the peak of 2021, when the COVID-19 pandemic spread out, all businesses and the whole economy were seriously affected. The top priority of the Company is to keep stable, Central has handed over projects, and kept good relationships with Clients, Partners to continually accompany the Company, overcome difficulties. In 2022 & 2023, Central revenue and profit still remained at a high level, with a 5-year compound growth rate in revenue of 64% and the compound growth rate in profit of 225%. 2023 is a pivotal year for a comprehensive restructuring of the company’s apparatus, streamlining the apparatus, from processes and regulations. Especially, the Company decided to implementing a “1-Touch” policy to accelerate all operational processes of the Company more and more efficiently, and the payment process with the determination of specific personal responsibilities.

At the conference, representatives of the Board of Directors of the Company shared about the production and business situation in the past year as well as development plans and orientations in the following years. Emphasizing the core values of the Company, Central always upholds Integrity and Transparency throughout the process of working with Partners. This is the foundation for a sustainable cooperation relationship of the parties.

In addition, Central Board of Directors has spent most of the time sharing and discussing openly with partners about the current market situation of the construction industry, about difficulties in the cooperation process to have a solution and long-term companionship. The economic recession, raw material price storm, bond crisis are great challenges for businesses, especially seriously affecting the real estate and construction industries, leading to scarce sources of jobs and stiffer competition.

Therefore, the companionship of partners on building effective solutions, improving construction quality as well as optimizing costs will be a premise to help improve competitiveness and chances of winning projects. Along with that, Central Board of Directors would like to express its deep gratitude to the Partners who have always trusted and accompanied Central to overcome challenges, work together towards common goals and long-term sustainable development. At the conference, Central thanked the contributions of outstanding partners.

Right after the conference program ended, the partners attended an intimate party in the green campus at Tan Cang Convention.

On the evening of February 23^rd, 2024, the Holistic Excellence Ceremony for the most favorite employers of 2023 – Employer of Choice 2023 was held. At the ceremony, Central Construction Joint Stock Company was honored:

• 3rd place in Top Construction – Building Materials
• 27th place in the Top 50 Most Favourite Employers 2023 – Medium-sized Enterprises.

The event was organized by CareerViet Solutions Joint Stock Company (CareerBuilder Vietnam) – the largest employment and recruitment network in Vietnam in collaboration with the market research company Amco Vietnam and the participation of more than 310 businesses. In more than a month, the survey has attracted more than 62,000 respondents nationwide of different ages and industries, of which nearly 40,000 respondents have completed the survey and voted for themselves the Most Favorite Employer in 2023.

In addition to the consistent efforts to maintain the brand and achieve impressive revenue each year, Central’s Board of Directors always puts full attention on creating a stable & happy working environment for the team.

At present, Central’s personnel, consisting of 900 employees, are carefully selected engineers and architects from prestigious universities with rich experience, expertise, and enthusiasm. Central always focuses on efforts in team development, with various training programs at different levels actively promoted to help employees change their mindset & perception to develop themselves. It is also an important reference source in the field of human resource management for businesses in Vietnam. In particular, this year the award officially marks the 10-year milestone for the 2023 Favorite Employer Voting Program.

On the morning of February 15^th 2024, Central held a Spring Opening Ceremony with the participation of the Board of Directors, Departments employees and representatives of projects in Ho Chi Minh City.

CEO Tran Quang Tuan at the ceremony shared: “On the occasion of Spring Giap Thin 2024, I wish all Central employees and your families a safe and prosperous New Year. I wish the Projects/Departments successfully complete the 2024 plan; and achieve more marks in the new year, contributing and spreading many sustainable values to society.”

In addition, representatives of Department/Project Managers sent meaningful Tet wishes to all Central employees to bring exciting and positive energy at the beginning of the new year.

Right after the Spring Opening Ceremony, the Central team immediately started working to create momentum for the work results in 2024.

Joining the bustling atmosphere to welcome Spring Giap Thin, on January 20^th, 2021, at White Palace Convention Center, Phu Nhuan District, the Central 2023 Review & Staff Honor Conference took place well with the theme “Lanh Dao Kien Tao”.

The event was attended by the Company’s Board of Directors and all management levels of Department/ Projects and employees to achieve excellent achievements in 2023.

Overcoming the fluctuations of the market with relentless efforts, Central is one of the rare contractors that still ensures a stable profit margin and is the priority of choice when the Investor awards contracts, highly appreciated by Partners,  domestic and foreign customers with prestige and sense of responsibility at work.

Through the succinct 2023 summary footage, Central employees present at the ceremony looked back on the achievements that the company’s team has created in the past year. Sharing at the ceremony, CEO Tran Quang Tuan said: “We have accompanied to create and make a mark on the market as a leading General Contractor, maintaining business results, achieving impressive revenue and keeping project progress milestones, received a lot of thanks and trust from the Developers. This is the honor and pride of the whole team of the Company and also the motivation for us to try harder. Myself and the Board of Directors are always consistent with the set goals and to realize this element of sustainable development, our team needs to understand and implement together.”

In 2023, the Company will carry out a “comprehensive restructuring” from the Company’s organizational chart to all Departments, thereby separating between the MANAGEMENT level and the OPERATIONS level; building a clear decentralization and delegation system; refreshing and streamlining all processes, regulations, forms, aiming at simplicity but efficiency, assigning clear personal responsibility to increase labor productivity. Leaders/managers have changed and matured dramatically in all aspects, from thinking to acting; from the level of “dependence” to “independence”, from “independence” to “interdependence” and all are aimed at the overall success of the organization.

At the 2023 Review Conference, there was a discussion with the theme “Leadership in Building Culture”. Transforming 5 core values of the Company into real, and complete values, especially focusing on the value of “Trust”. The employees attending at the hall together with the Board of Directors dialogued, shared, and together implemented the common tasks of the organization. Each of comments is acknowledged by the Board of Directors and directly answers problems.

In recognition of the dedication and efforts of excellent employees & projects in 2023, Central Board of Directors has directly approved and rewarded individuals & departments/projects with the following categories: Excellent Project, Dedicated Department, Excellent Project Manager,  Excellent Deputy Project Manager, Excellent Team Leader, Excellent Supervisor and Excellent Office Specialist.

In conclusion, the 2023 Review Conference is an employee appreciation party, taking place in an extremely cozy and intimate atmosphere. Employees from all Departments/Projects in three regions of the country gathered in Ho Chi Minh City to celebrate the achievements of the year and promise to strive for a new year full of expectations and fruits of Vietnam’s construction industry.

Although Central people go everywhere, contributing to building magnificent works, this place is always a home/a place of belonging. Every person has the right to be proud, to be loved and to grow. Not stopping at the number of projects, Central always sets the goal of business development in addition to the mission of creating value for partners, clients and society, and building a happy working environment for all Central people./.
