In the first week of 2024, Central Construction JSC launched the Club of Department Heads. Attending this event, there was the presence of Chairman & CEO Tran Quang Tuan.

The Club of Department Heads was established at the growth stage of Central, with the motto to create a playground connecting all Heads of Departments, the elite in establishing the back office to integrate quickly with the front office into the common, sustainable development of Central.

On the morning of January 6^th, 2024, the club unanimously voted:

• Mr. Mao Vi Cuong – Chairman
• Mr. Tran Minh Thi – Permanent Deputy Director
• Mr. Ly Trung Tinh – Non-Permanent Deputy Director

At the launch, Chairman Mao Vi Cuong introduced personnel, objectives, tasks, and new points about the obligations and benefits of members under the club’s regulations in the new term. After 1 day of working exchange, the Board of Directors has received a lot of experience sharing, comments, and enthusiastic support commitments of members.

Over the years, the Central team has been persistently creating value. At this time, facing a challenging period, it is necessary to elevate and create a “new spiral” for the organization, transforming the 5 core values of the company into reality. The launch of clubs dedicated to each level is one of the actions to gradually build a legacy team, and restructure the human resources, towards sustainable development./.

On the evening of November 23^rd, 2023, Central Construction Joint Stock Company was honored in the Top 100 Best Places to Work in Vietnam 2023 according to the voting results from Anphabe – the pioneer consulting firm providing Employer Brand and Happy Workforce solutions. Amidst market volatility, the global economy is strongly affected in many fields, and this year, the race for the title of “Best Places to Work in Vietnam” is hotter than ever. This result recognizes the efforts of Central’s Board of Directors and employees during the past year.

This is the 10th year Anphabe has announced this prestigious award. This year, for the first time, the ranking of the 100 Best Places to Work in Vietnam is separated into 2 separate tables according to the criteria of Large Enterprises and Medium Enterprises…

Best Places to Work in Vietnam is an annual award made completely independently, recognizing the most objective opinions from employees to measure the health of the Employer Brand; with the sponsorship of the Vietnam Confederation of Commerce and Industry (VCCI). The model and evaluation method are verified by market research company Intage Vietnam.

The survey for Best Places to Work in Vietnam 2023 was conducted from April to September independently, which polled 63,000 experienced workers from 18 industry groups of more than 700 leading enterprises to ensure fairness and objectivity of the results.

The survey was conducted based on the following criteria such as salary, bonuses, welfare, professional development, culture and values, leadership, work-life balance, company reputation, quality-market coverage of products and services; and health care for employees. With this result, Central has met the positive expectations of employees in many aspects.

This is the second consecutive year that Central is in the top large enterprises to win the Top 100 Best Places to Work in Vietnam. The company always focuses on building a culture based on core values: Trust, Integrity, Respect, Quality and People, building a dynamic working environment, each person always adapts quickly to market changes. Policies on welfare regimes, competitive salary in the industry, caring for the lives of employees and their relatives. Besides, the most important is training, building a succession team, and restructuring the human resource system towards sustainable development.

Central aims to build a working environment for self-improvement, so that each individual can work in a place where are loved, and respected; a second home for employees to work and contribute.

As part of CENTRAL’s annual CSR activities implemented in the locality where CENTRAL’s projects are located. On the afternoon of November 18^th, 2023, CENTRAL organized a scholarship award ceremony for excellent students with the spirit of overcoming difficulties from the following schools: Vinh Tuong 1, Vinh Tuong 2 & Vinh Tuong 3 in Vinh Tuong Commune, Vi Thuy District, Hau Giang Province.

In Vinh Tuong Commune, Vi Thuy District, Hau Giang Province, CENTRAL is constructing the Can Tho – Hau Giang Highway with the following items: Rung Tram Bridge – Km48+375; Giai Phong Bridge – Km47+039 & Giai Phong Bridge (Collector-distributor road) – Km47+039 under the Eastern North-South Expressway Construction Project, period 2021-2025 of the Ministry of Transport.

Through researching and acknowledging the difficult situation in the locality, CENTRAL has decided to donate: 340 backpacks to children of Vinh Tuong Kindergarten, 10 sets of desktop computers and 70 scholarships to students of 3 primary schools Vinh Tuong 1, Vinh Tuong 2 & Vinh Tuong 3,  at the same time, install wall fans for Vinh Tuong 3 Primary School (the campus 2).

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Thien Thuat – Project Director on behalf of CENTRAL’s Board of Directors shared: “Recognizing the difficulties of local people, especially the desire of children to go to school, CENTRAL hopes to contribute and help them overcome difficulties in life and strive in learning. This is also the Company’s goal for sustainable development, not only to build local buildings but also to contribute to local development.”

In response, Mr. Pham Quoc Thanh – Chairman of Vinh Tuong Commune, on behalf of the local Board of Directors and the school, sent his sincere thanks: “This is a very practical and meaningful action that the company has given to excellent students overcoming difficulties. Vinh Tuong commune is currently difficult with a large population and unfavorable travel conditions. These gifts have contributed to paying for a part of their living costs here, helping them to have a more stable life and focus on their studies.”

In the future, each place CENTRAL passes through will have more meaningful activities for the community to bring joy and share difficulties with the locality, together building a better life. Particularly for scholarship programs, with this scholarship, the students will strive to study, be useful and help contribute to society.

In the bustling atmosphere of Vietnamese Women’s Day 20/10, CENTRAL held a ceremony to thank and honor all of the Company’s female employees. The program took place in an intimate and joyful atmosphere with best wishes and meaningful gifts.

Women are the flower of Heaven, the Earth, and the Human. Life is a series of stories about the journey of love. Therefore, respect and care for women are always the responsibility that the Central Board of Directors is willing to show on special occasions.

Attending the ceremony, Mr. Mai Chanh Thanh – Executive Director sends best wishes to the Central’s female employees: “On the occasion of Vietnamese Women’s Day, I would like to wish you always beautiful and young. May all of you always be happy, smile more, and be happy in your life.”

Opening the party, there is the “Lightning Quiz”, bringing a fun and exciting atmosphere. All of Central’s female employees actively participate and give the right answers to win attractive gifts.

Especially, on the occasion of 20/10 this year, the Organizing Committee holds the Paper Rose Workshop. Each female employee will follow the guidance of the teacher, making beautiful paper roses on their own with the message: “Women can actively and bravely create their own happiness!”

At the end of the program, everyone owns a radiant bouquet of flowers created by themselves. We hope that the gifts and wishes will be the motivation for them to always strive and be more confident every day.

On September 7^th, 2023, the Autodesk ASEAN Innovation Awards 2023 (AAIA 2023) took place at Sands Expo & Convention Centre, Marina Bay Sands, Singapore. CENTRAL was honored to be 1 in 3 Top Country winning the Grand Winner of ASEAN – Better World Builder of the Year AAIA 2023.

This year, Autodesk ASEAN Innovation Awards was held at IBEW (International Built Environment Week) 2023 in Singapore to recognize the best companies in the area with excellent activities in the construction industry. CENTRAL is proud of being a potential candidate for this annual contest when concerned about the use of innovative technology including Building Information Modeling (BIM) and Autodesk software in AEC (Architecture, Engineering, and Construction) industry.

CENTRAL has excellently achieved the title of Grand Winner of ASEAN in the Better World Builder of The Year Award category, which is a recognition of the company’s persistent efforts when applying and implementing sustainability initiatives in the Sol Forest Ecopark project. This is also the result of a professional and high-tech construction process from a team of elite engineers, meeting the criteria of the award: Green Sustainability, Generative Design, and DfMA to minimize environmental impacts, use energy efficiently, or improve air quality…

This is the third year Autodesk has hosted this event. This year, the award received a record-high of 150 companies in ASEAN, more specifically 35 submissions from Việt Nam. With a judging process reviewed by a panel of industry experts, academics, and Autodesk senior leaders, the Autodesk ASEAN Innovation Awards (AAIA 2023) is considered one of the most prestigious awards in the AEC and D&M field today, which is a recognition for businesses to promote creativity and development in the industry.

In order to contribute to spreading love, compassion and raise the awareness about social responsibility, each CENTRAL employee together with partners and relatives always actively accompany the blood donation program.

On this morning of May 11^th, 2023, at the Company’s main office, CENTRAL in collaboration with the Ho Chi Minh City Red Cross Blood Donation Center and the Red Cross Society of Thao Dien ward organized the program “Giot Mau Se Chia” 2023.

Especially, the program is honored to welcome:

• Delegation of Ho Chi Minh City Blood Bank
• Expert, Dr. Jeh-Han Omarjee – Head of Microbiological Sciences at National Bioproducts Institute (NBI), South Africa
• Ms. Tran Thi Tham, Director of Ho Chi Minh City Blood Donation Center
• Ms. Cao Thi Tuyet Nhung – Vice President of Thu Duc City Red Cross Society

The presence of distinguished guests showed the prestige as well as the professionalism of the blood donation process according to international standards that CENTRAL has cooperated with the Ho Chi Minh City Red Cross Society.

The blood donation program went successfully with coordination from the parties. It was carried out with modern and professional processes. Blood donors conveniently submitted their personal information online on the website of the Ho Chi Minh City Red Cross and get the order number automatically right at the company lobby.

As part of the company’s annual series of community activities with the theme “CHU DONG HIEN MAU, CHIA SE CONG DONG”, CENTRAL commits to always accompany the humanitarian blood donation program every year to spread this noble gesture; help raise people’s sense of responsibility, self-awareness, and initiative in participating in blood donation to help save many patients’ lives.
