On August 22, 2025, a formal announcement ceremony was held at the headquarters of CENTRAL Construction Joint Stock Company to mark its acquisition of a 51% stake in 620 Infrastructure Development And Investment Corporation. The event was attended by the executive leadership of both companies and signified a major milestone in CENTRAL’s strategic expansion—from a leading General Contractor to an investor in infrastructure investment and development.

CENTRAL’s Strategic Expansion into Infrastructure

The partnership with 620, a company renowned for its expertise in bridge and road construction, underscores CENTRAL’s long-term vision to strengthen competitiveness, expand operational scale, and contribute more significantly to national socio-economic development.

Mr. Tran Quang Tuan, Chairman and CEO of CENTRAL, stated: “Becoming a shareholder of 620 opens the door to a host of key infrastructure projects. The synergy between our two companies will optimize resources and improve execution efficiency, particularly in large-scale bridge and road works, where 620 leads the market with nearly VND 1,450 billion in annual revenue and industry-leading pre-stressed beam casting technology.”

620 – A Solid Foundation in Infrastructure

Originally established as 620 Long An Concrete Jsc in 2005, in 620 Infrastructure Development And Investment Corporation made its mark early with the Saigon–Trung Luong Expressway, supplying 1,817 Super T-beams worth VND 500 billion. Following its privatization in 2006, the company rapidly evolved into a major player in Vietnam’s infrastructure sector, especially in bridge and road construction.

In Bridge construction, 620 is known as a pioneer in Super T-beam and pre-stressed beam technology—modern solutions for overpasses, expressways, and major national routes. Its large-scale component manufacturing and assembly capabilities have positioned the company as a preferred contractor for complex, high-specification projects. In the Road sector, 620 brings extensive experience in subgrade works, cement concrete and asphalt paving, and has executed major highway and industrial zone infrastructure packages, delivering modern, sustainable transport routes that meet the country’s growing mobility needs.

What sets 620 apart is its integrated capacity across both bridge and road construction—from advanced beam production to foundation and surface execution—placing it among the Top 16 largest hybrid road-bridge contractors in Vietnam. This robust platform will empower CENTRAL in its mission to drive national infrastructure development.

Mr. Pham Thanh Dien, Chairman of 620, emphasized: “Having CENTRAL as a strategic shareholder marks a strong step forward, reflecting our shared commitment to advancing national infrastructure. As the entire country operates like a vast construction site, we stand ready with CENTRAL to strengthen the construction sector and support investors in delivering modern, enduring infrastructure projects.”
